What is Nakshatra?

Nakshatra is one of the most important aspects of Vedic astrology. It is the 27th birth star and is considered to be very auspicious. Nakshatra plays a vital role in determining the planetary positions at the time of birth. It is also used for predicting future events.

Nakshatra is divided into four quarters known as Padas. Each Pada has a specific meaning and significance. The first Pada is known as the Janma Nakshatra which is responsible for the individual’s physical appearance. The second Pada, called the Surya Nakshatra, represents the person’s mental ability and personality. The third Pada, referred to as the Chandra Nakshatra, signifies the individual’s emotional nature. The fourth and final Pada, known as the Guru Nakshatra, represents the person’s spiritual side.

Nakshatra is also associated with specific animals. These animals are considered to be the guardians of the respective Nakshatras. For example, the Janma Nakshatra is guarded by the cow, while the Surya Nakshatra is protected by the lion.

The placement of planets in different Nakshatras can have a profound impact on an individual’s life. The planets govern different aspects of our lives such as health, wealth, relationships, career, etc. Thus, a proper understanding of Nakshatra can help us make better choices in life and lead a more successful life.
